R-Grammy& B singer Angie Stone died early Saturday at a car accident, according to The Late Star representative. She was 63 years old.
The artist was involved in a fatal car accident at dawn on Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama, after a performance in the city, said Stone representative, Deborah R. Champagne.
After his performance in Montgomery on Friday night, Stone was scheduled to travel to Baltimore for a part -time performance at the CIAA basketball conference.

The nearby friend of Stone and former bandmate, Gwendolyn “Blondie” Chisolm of the sequence, identified her body in a Montgomery hospital, said Champagne. Chisolm did not travel with stone at the time of the accident, according to Champagne.
Born in Angela Laverne Brown, on December 18, 1961, Stone first jumped to fame with the Early The Sequence female rap group, known for her 1979 success “Funk You Up”.
