R-Grammy& B singer Angie Stone died early Saturday at a car accident, according to The Late Star representative. She was 63 years old.

The artist was involved in a fatal car accident at dawn on Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama, after a performance in the city, said Stone representative, Deborah R. Champagne.

The nearby friend of Stone and former bandmate, Gwendolyn “Blondie” Chisolm of the sequence, identified her body in a Montgomery hospital, said Champagne. Chisolm did not travel with stone at the time of the accident, according to Champagne.
