London and Hong Kong – President Donald Trump said a commercial agreement with China “, subject to final approval.”
“Our agreement with China is made, subject to the final approval with President XI and I,” Trump said in Truth Social, adding that the relationship between the two main economic powers of the world was “excellent.”
Trump said the United States would obtain “a total of 55% of tariffs” with China rates established by 10%.
Trump added: “The complete magnets and the necessary rare earths will be supplied, in advance, by China. In the same way, we will provide China what was agreed, including Chinese students who use our universities and universities (which has always been good with me!)”.

Chinese state media reported early on Wednesday that countries had agreed to a commercial “framework” during the conversations in London. China did not immediately launch additional details.
The Secretary of Commerce of the United States, Howard Lutnick, on Tuesday referred to him as a “handshake for a frame.” Presidents Trump and Xi Jinping will now have to approve the frame, said Lutnick. That step would seem to mean that there were some concessions that both leaders did not give their authority of negotiating teams to negotiate.
“Once this is done, we will return together by phone and we will begin to implement this agreement,” Lutnick said. “The two largest economies in the world have reached a handshake for the frame.”

The two days of conversations in London followed the first round of conversations in Geneva and a phone call between Trump and XI, all of which followed Trump implementation of higher rates in Chinese imports.
Vice -Prime Minister He Lifeng, the leader of the China delegation, told the Xinhua news agency, a cable service affiliated with the state, that the disputes between the two must be resolved through an “equal dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation.”

“There is no winner in a commercial war,” he said. “China is not willing to fight, but you are not afraid to fight.”
