President Donald Trump, six weeks after his historic return to the White House, delivered the longest joint speech to Congress in History on Tuesday night.
Trump triumphantly brought the stand to the applause of the Republican majority in the Chamber and the Senate, but the mood changed in a matter of minutes when he faced a heck of some strident democrats.
However, the president said he is forging at full speed with his agenda (although divisive), since he claimed a “mandate” of US voters.
Here are the key conclusions:
‘America has returned’
Trump opened his speech declaring Congress and the Nation: “The United States has returned.”
A “United States” song broke out immediately among the legislators when the Republicans stood up.

Trump quickly turned to promote the speed of the lightning with which he has tried to promulgate his agenda, arguing that his administration “achieved more in 43 days than most of the administrations achieved in four years or eight years, and we are just beginning.”
Democrats interrupt and one is eliminated
Trump talked about the 2024 elections, claiming a broad “mandate”, although the data shows that victory is not the total sliding that has often portrayed.
When Trump said he won the popular vote for “great quantities,” the Democrats began to retreat audibly. Texas Green’s representative was seen outside his seat and shaking his cane to Trump while shouting: “You have no mandate to cut Medicaid.”

The speaker Mike Johnson was hitting his mallet to restore the order of the joint session and issued a warning to the members to maintain the decorum. Johnson, shortly after, the sergeant of the camera took Green instructed from the camera after telling him to take his seat several times.
The return and the end between Trump and the Democrats continued throughout the speech. At one point, Trump lashed out at Senator Elizabeth Warren, bringing her 2018 mockery to call her “Pocahontas”.
The Democrats held signs that said “false” and “Musks steal.” Several left the camera while talking.

Trump continues to point to Biden
Trump was repeatedly after former President Joseph Biden, continuing to criticize him for border problems or with the economy.
“The worst president in the history of the United States,” Trump said about Biden.
Trump is just six weeks in his second term, but Americans are already expressing dissatisfaction with many of their policies. An analysis 538 of public opinion surveys found its approval index on actions related to medical care, foreign policy, government financing, trade and lower water.
Trump praises Elon Musk and Doge
Elon Musk, a controversial but very influential advisor in Trump’s orbit, was in the camera for Trump’s comments. He left the White House for the speech moments before Trump and, as the president, he received applause upon his arrival, although he was more silenced.
Trump spent a considerable amount of time at the beginning of his comments praising Musk and the work of the Government’s efficiency department reducing the government’s expenditure and the federal workforce.
“The new government efficiency department, Doge. You may have heard of that. Maybe. Which is headed by Elon Musk, who is in the gallery tonight. Thank you Elon. He is working very hard. He didn’t need this. He didn’t need this. Thank you very much. We appreciate. We appreciate. Everyone here, even this side appreciates it, I think,” he believes. Trump

The president read a laundry list of the supposed “waste, fraud and abuse,” says Dege has identified. He made several misleading statements about Social Security in the process, including millions of Americans over 100 years of age received benefits, which has been discredited.
Trump said Doge’s work will help the economy in general.
“By reducing all fraud, waste and theft we can find, we will defeat inflation, we will reduce mortgage rates, cars payments and grocery prices, we will protect our elders and put more money in the pockets of US families,” he said.
Pocket book problems receive little attention when Trump defends rates
After marking Biden in the economy during the 2024 campaign and committing voters to lower prices on day 1, Trump did not spend much time discussing how exactly the prices went down while he continued blaming Biden.
“As president, I am fighting every day to reverse this damage and make the United States again affordable,” Trump said in one of his only mentions of supermarket prices. “Joe Biden let the price of eggs get out of control. The price of the egg is out of control and we are working hard to lower it again.”
The comment again caused rejection of the Democrats. The price of eggs has shot Trump in the middle of an aviar flu outbreak.

Trump said the focus on how to defeat inflation will be to reduce the cost of energy and savings of taxpayers through Doge.
Meanwhile, Trump offered a defense of his tariffs against Canada, China and Mexico, which sent the markets that rose on Tuesday. He said they were in the most “reciprocal” tariff store.
“Tariffs are not just about protecting US works, it is about protecting the soul of our country. Tariffs are trying to make the United States return to rich,” he said.
Trump continues imperial impulse, he briefly addresses Ukraine
Trump kept foreign policy for the end of his speech. Again he said that his administration would “claim” the Panama Canal for national security reasons and said they were trying to obtain Greenland for similar reasons.
After an explosive meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Oval office last week, Trump said he received from Zelenskyy on Tuesday and read part aloud.
“I appreciate that he sent this letter, which he received it a while ago,” Trump said, it seems that signaling tensions have cooled a little.

“Simultaneously, we have had serious discussions with Russia and we have received strong signs that they are ready for peace. Wouldn’t that be beautiful?” said.
Trump also briefly touched the Middle East, saying that his administration is working to bring back the hostages held in Gaza and that he wants to build on his 2019 Abraham agreements to bring stability to the region.
