Two people died in a shooting at the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday night, police said, added that it seemed to be an objective murder that followed an online argument.
A suspect had been identified, but not yet arrested, Sheriff Andrew Walsh told journalists at a press conference.
Police in Patrol near Hotel Bellagio & Casino heard shots around 10:40 pm, said Las Vegas Metro Police. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found two people with gunshot wounds, which were later declared dead, Walsh said.

Walsh described the shooting as an isolated and directed incident. He said he came after a victim and the suspect argued on social networks, he said.
“It is believed that the suspect and the victims knew each other and had previously participated in conflicts in social networks before shooting,” police said in a statement.
